When at home, I connect to an AFP volume shared from another Mac. However, when I go to work (and thus a different Wi-fi network), the share doesn't eject immediately.... shouldn't it go away since I'm not on the same network anymore?
When I run
from the command line, it still lists the share. The result is that Finder hangs for ~10 minutes until my Mac figures out that the share is no longer available and resumes normal operation. So, what can I do to ensure that the share properly ejects when it's no longer available?
This happens with a clean install on Yosemite, it happened with Mavericks, and maybe earlier.
