Today is got my hands on my first imac.

I am connected to the internet via my BTHomehub wirelessly.

When i open finder under the "Shared" section there is a computer called thomson, and when i click on it is says "Connected as guest"?

How am i connected to this? Where is it and how do i dissconnect?

Thanks in advanced from a mac noob! :)

Strange, only three computers should be accessing my network. My Desktop PC, Laptop and my iMac.

The iMac is the only one connected at the moment.

Is somebody else using my network? I don't think they can be as it is secure and my neighbours are old and not computer literate?

I am using WEP. I read on another forum that it could have something to do with my ISP? The shared computer seen in finder could be using the same ISP ad that is why it is being shown?

Am i right in thinking that Shared Computers can only access files i put in my shared folder?

Your computer can't see other computers like that past your router so it has to be connected to your router. I'd suggest upgrading your security to WPA if at all possible. WEP is like a sign with the words "stay out" on it and not much else.
