I have an iMac G4 running Leopard and a MBP with Mountain Lion. Lately all I've been using the iMac is for a shared drive, grabbing stuff from the firewire drive.
I just restarted my iMac and it gives me two shared computers.
One "user" iMac click get info and it's an iMac icon kind:Mac
the other is "mac000a95de11e8" get info and it's a PC icon. kind

Both are identical with the exception of my external hard drive that appears in the PC,
If I leave the network then I lose connection to the PC and won't get it back until it restarts. How do I display the external in the 'mac' or make it to where the 'pc' stays connected?
