I noticed I was no longer getting calls on either my iPad Air or Macbook Pro today (all iOS devices on 8.0.2 and MBP running Yosemite GM). When I attempted to make a call from my MBP, I'd get a message stating my MBP and iPhone must be using the same Apple ID. Technically they were (Apple ID is a .me account but also has the .icloud end that Apple assigned to my username when iCloud was released) though some were signed in on the .me version and others on .icloud. It's been this way for a while and until today I never had an issue.
So I signed out of FaceTime, Messages, and iCloud on all of my devices, signed back in using the same username for all and tried again. Now I was receiving a message after attempting another shared cellular call that both the Mac and iPhone must be on the same wifi--again, they are, doubled check twice for all devices.
I also shutdown/reboot all devices, just in case--still no luck. I having the same results using either my iPad Air or MBP, both on outgoing or incoming calls.
Anyone else having problems with this feature today?
Update: Well, did a router restart and that seems to have fixed the issue--calls now coming in and going out successfully.
