Ok, so in all honesty I've tried Google. I've tried researching on the forums here. No luck.
This is the dumbest thing ever.
I have a 2013 iMac 27" running OS X 10.8.5
Previous to 3 days ago I had no problems connecting to my shared devices on either wired connection or wireless connection. I have a Q-NAP 219PII and a PopCornHour device that was always able to be seen on my "SHARED" panel of Finder (left hand side).
Recently the entire SHARED section has vanished when I use my cabled connection. It all shows when I have it on wireless connection though (weird right????)
Both my wifes personal and work MacBook Pro's can still view the actual SHARED tab and all connected devices whether they're wired or wireless.
I have a TELUS service provider, and it's using the Actiontec V1000H router. Has something miraculously changed? I placed a call to Vonage to update a setting because I couldn't hear anything someone said over the VoIP, but they could hear me. The customer care agent had me add a port forward on the router, and that worked.... but I wouldn't see why it would affect a wired connection on my Mac.
First picture is showing the wifes connection works.
Second picture shows I can't see the SHARED portion on wired connection
Third picture shows that I have checked off all connections under preferences.
Fourth Picture shows it works when I have it on wireless connection except for the pch-a400. It also shows that my TimeMachine backup wont work.
Please help.
