I've followed the directions from "Printing to a Shared PC Printer" to get my Canon i250 working on my network. Unforunately, the i250 is not a choice from the "Select driver to use" list. Does anyone knowof a way to get the i250 configured on my Mac laptop?

Thanks!

The driver from Canon was meant to be USB Only. You need a CUPS driver. Update your Gutenprint (CUPS) drivers here:
http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php

Unfortunately, I don't see the i250 even in the newer set. You'll have to experiment with the i80 or i560, for example.

Thanks, gsahli. I feared I was going to be out of luck with that Canon driver. I took your advice and tried all the other iXXX drivers from the latest Gutenprint (CUPS) drivers. No dice. I added a request for Gutenprint to add the i250. We'll see.
