Hi there, I've got a weird issue with my PowerBook. On my friend's MacBook, my PowerBook shows up as normal (PowerBook icon, link to Public folder), but also makes a second appearance called "styxie_powerbook", which has the BSOD windows icon. I can't figure out why it does this. Can someone clarify please?

This is because you have both AFP (mac sharing) and SMB (windows sharing) turned on. You will find the settings in System Prefs > Sharing > File Sharing > Options.
