I have a print server (win Xp sp3 32 bits) in a domain but when I connect a mac
on the net without it being in the domain I can not configure the printer and print,
the printer is a HP LaserJet 1120 MPF anyone know what might be happening?

If the printer is shared on the domain and the mac is not authenticated on the domain then the system will not allow it to connect as it is not authenticated. You could try getting the mac to login to the domain and then you should be able to connect to it.

Mac connects to the domain and access the network normally. I can find the printer on the network, but i when I send it to print nothing happens.

I've personally never had much luck with sharing HP printers via Windows and printing to it from my Mac. I have an HP Laserjet 1012, and it doesn't like to play nice. I've tried another HP all-in-one printer (it's in storage so I don't know the model off the top of my head) and had no luck with it either. I just bring my Macbook into the study and attach it via USB (not sure if that's an option for you).

You can always take a peek at one of these guides though for pointers.
