Are you using two different networks at home - say one for the internet and one to talk to the printer, in which case it makes perfect sense. If however the wireless printer is attached to the wireless device to which the ethernet is attached it is less so.
I would print a test page from the printer and see if that alphanumeric PCP... comes up somewhere on the sheet. If it does - problem solved. As an alternative means try typing the IP address of your printer into a web browser and see what comes up. Many wireless printers are web configurable and I would expect to see that name somewhere prominently on the web page.
