iOS ShareKit share doc file stored online?

I recently started using share kit in my iPhone apps. One part of the app allows you to view newsletters, bulletins, and articles that change regularly. I have this setup with just a webview and the changes to the documents are made server side on a weekly or monthly basis. I think I can use share kit to share some data or documents, but am not certain if I can do that when documents are server side and not embedded in the application itself. Would someone be able to help me out with this?
