I use sharepod to manage the music on my iPhone (3Gs) as I find it a hell of a lot better then iTunes.
However I seem to have hit a wall when adding ringtones, I know I have done it before, I just can't remember exactly how.
It was something like this:
Use audacity to trim the song I wanted to use as a ringtone down to 30 seconds, and to add an out fade etc
Export as .MP3
Use WinFF to convert the .mp3 file tp .m4a
Drag this .m4a into sharepod
Rename the .m4a to .m4r and then drag this into sharepod
Tada you have a ringtone
Now this isn't working so I am ovbiously doing something wrong, does anyone know what that might be?
