Sharing a CD DRive

I am running VMWare and everything is working fine except sharing my iMac drive from the Windows side. When I'm in OS. I can access the CD and run everything perfectly, but on the windows side I see the cd drive, but when I open it up it's blank. Seems like it's not reading the cd. Anyone else have this issue. When I try to connect witi VMware I get the following error:

Cannot connect the virtual device ide1:0 because no corresponding device is available on the host.

I guess Remote Disk Sharing is not accessible via Windows run in a VM environment.

Ups, I was wrong. A little search for "remote disk sharing vm" revealed this.
