I have a Macbook Pro 14 on order to replace an old Mac 5K and I'm trying to decide on an external display. I also need to use it with a work issued Lenovo Thinkpad L48 which has USB-C. I understand the Ultrafine (LG 24MDKL) has a very good display and speakers but that I'd probably have to unplug/plug the cable between the laptops to switch sources. I don't have admin access on the Lenovo but I found a utility called 'ClickMonitorDDC' which installed fine and should let me adjust brightness on the PC. I like the look of the Ultrafine but there are other options from Dell and Asus which look decent and might be less hassle with the PC. Any opinions (yay or nay) on this combo? Thanks all!

That depend on display! if one can get on the HDMI port and the other on the display port and able to either port one of the time might be way!
