Sharing Apple ID on multiple users on single machine

Hi all,
I'm making a new user ID on my personal computer, that will strictly be work (work issued machine is junky)

I want to keep my same Apple ID logged in so I can have access to things like Apple Music and other programs, but I DON'T want it copying over my iCloud disk and mirroring my desktop (which it is currently doing)

How can I keep them as separate instances?
