Sharing Contacts between two macs

I need to find a way to share my contacts (Address Book) between to macs. Currently I am using FileMaker Pro for my CMS which is really just too much for just a contact list but even as much, it does not sync with the Address Book. Long goal is to move my contacts to a DB of some sort but I see the same limitation as I have with FMP which Address Book does not sync or connect to a DB. I have several thousand contacts.

I think Mobile Me might be what you are looking for. If you don't want to pay, there may be some kind of work around using dropbox that you can exploit.
