Hello, I read this post which was useful to get my iPhone using my macs wifi as an access point (in work there's no wireless router). I would like to assign a password to it so neighbours can't jump on and slow down the connection. Is there a way to do this?

(Thought this may be a more general mac question then an iPhone one, so I posted it here).

in Internet Sharing click "Airport Options…" and set a passkey there.

NOTE: Share your connection from: "Ethernet" To computers using: "Aiport" must be selected.

Sys Pref / Sharing / Internet

You might have to stop the current sharing to access "Airport Options" which will allow you to add password.
