Dear all,
I have been trying to get my MBP to access a external usb hdd on my iMac.
Ext HDD is in NTFS format. Both MBP and iMac installed with NTFS-3g (MacFUSE).
From the MBP I can connect to the iMac as Guest and see shared folders that reside locally on the iMac.
I have added the ext hdd volume under Sharing and permission set accordingly but upon connecting I am to see all other shared folders but the ext hdd volume.
I can also connect as a user that has admin rights on the iMac and see all folders locally on the iMac whether shared or unshared.
I read that by access as admin user I should have been able to see all mounted drives, but unfortunately not the ext usb hdd.
I'm connecting via Finder -> Go -> Connect to a server -> afp://my-machine.local
May I know if I am missing a step here?
Thank you all very much!
