Sharing files between an iBook and a Macbook?

I have an iBook G4 (for full stats see signature) and a Macbook (for full stats see signature) and I was wondering if there was a way to share files wirelessly between them. What I really would want to do would be to be able to see what was on my Macbook (even when closed) with my iBook G4 wirelessly, and then transfer them over to my iBook or just simply open them without transferring them. The iBook is running Tiger 10.4.11 and the Macbook is running Snow Leopard 10.6.4.
