Hi there

I know that you can set 2 machines up so that you access each others HD's through the Shared section in finder but I am not sure how to do it.

Can anyone assist me by letting me know, or by pointing me in the direction of some help files

Many thanks

Scottie

Go to System Preferences and then 'Sharing'. In there, turn on file sharing and then hopefully the other computer will show up in the shared section. To browse all files on the networked computers hard drive, you will have to click 'connect as' and type in the login details of the computer you are trying to browse... did that make sense?

I take it that both computers are running Leopard as you mentioned the Shared section in the finder? Am I right?
