sharing folder gone from preferences

hey my sharing folder on mac osx (latest version) is gone from the system preferences,i even searched for it from my spotlight etc. Its gone how do i get it back, the features still seem to be working becuase i can access it from other computers

Do you mean the sharing pane is gone in System Preferences, or that your Shared Folder has disappeared? Maybe give us a quick screenshot of the area you're talking about.
