I have found a way to share my files back and forth wirelessly but i am trying to transfer a lot of files. Is there a way to connect a mac laptop to a PC desktop and transfer the files that way. I am hoping that will make it faster??????

THanks for any help

I tend to use gigabit ethernet when transferring a large amount of data between computers. I seem to loose connection when on wireless and transferring large files. Barring that, you could put your mac into target disk mode if you have firewire on both computers.

yes that is what I was wondering but how do I do it. Just plug and go or do I need to use w software?

That's why I linked to the guide.

Modern OSs have built in protocols for networking, so additional software is not necessary.

You just have to adjust some settings on both sides, therefore the guide, and just connect both via cable.
