I was browsing in Safari and saw a picture I wanted to share on Facebook. So I pressed the Safari share icon. All that's there is messages, email, and Flickr. Where's Facebook and Twitter?

Thats weird because when I browse on Safari and press the 'Share' icon (the square with an arrow out the top), I get the following sharing options:

Mail, Message, Facebook, Twitter.

Make sure your Facebook information is signed in under Settings>FaceBook. ;)

Are you sharing a link or an image? I'm just talking about images. Here's one for example:
http://i.imgur.com/bPXI7Aw.jpg

Go to that image in your browser and see what share options come up.

Yes, I'm signed in.

A demonstration of what I'm seeing using that link above. The "more" button only has the same things that are shown.

I believe images can only be shared via Photo app.

Safari only shares links.

....actually, yep - I get the same exact thing as you - Mail and Message.

I guess, however, that if you then choose the 'Save' option, you can save it to your Camera Roll and THEN you can share it via Facebook or Twitter or whatever.

Isn't that an absurd limitation? I'm just trying to share an image I don't necessity want to save it. I especially don't want to go through the round about method of saving it then sharing it from the photos app.

I'm going to write the Apple suggestion page about this.

This is when loading a photo fully in Safari? Like, not a whole page, just a photo?

edit: ok, nevermind. Yeah. I played with it too and agree with the folks who've said that saving to the camera roll is the only way to go about this.

Thanks SWC. I just went back my 3rd gen iPad (that I'm never updating beyond the last iOS 7 release) to compare using this link: http://i.imgur.com/vVqJKRt.jpg
