My wife has an iPhone 6 and runs Windows 7 on her PC. iCloud is installed on her PC.

She receives a text with an image. She can hit the "sharing" button and save it to an iCloud shared album without a problem, and that shows up in her iCloud folder on her PC.

She hits the "sharing" button on her iPhone and just hits "save image" and the image is now saved in her photos list under "Moments" (there is no longer anything called "My Photo Stream" on her iPhone).

This second method does NOT result in image being synced with iCloud on her PC (which has "My Photo Stream"). Why not?

Also, if I take a pic with my iPhone it just "automagically" appears in the Photos app on my various Macs. BUT, if my wife takes a photo on HER iPhone it does NOT "automagically" appear in iCloud Photos folder on her PC. Isn't this supposed to work the same way?

TIA...
