Hi, sorry if this has been brought up but can someone confirm if the "Sharing" drop down box shows up by default in the Leopard Finder? It doesn't show up in mine. Now before anyone asks, I don't have more than one computer in my house, I only have my new iMac. In Finder preferences the Shared button is checked to show up on the sidebar.
The reason that I am asking is because in my small neighborhood we share our wireless connections (it's a very small community) but I don't see anyone's computer showing up in the Finder sidebar. Any help appreciated.:)

It does! I opened up finder right after my install and it listed computers on the network in the left panel.

Works for me too. I can see my wife's MacBook and that is without changing any settings. It's the default and that worked right after I booted into Leopard for the first time.
