I know how to share my iMacs Internet connection but am having trouble w.some settings

I want to share the the iMacs wifi connection through its Ethernet port. The Ethernet port is plugged into my airport extreme's wan port.

The problem is the internet connection doesn't seem to work. Any advice on the settings to make this work??
