Sharing Internet Mac to PC

Hey, I was wondering if someone could help me out.

Basically I want to share internet from my iMac to a PC Laptop, although the laptop can detect the internet server thing, it cannot actually connect to it, and I was hoping someone has had this problem and solved it?

Thanks in advance.

I've also searched the forums and haven't found the answer, sorry if I've missed a previous post.
