Sharing iTunes library between multiple accounts

First off, I'm a Mac noob, so be gentle. Is there a way to share a single iTunes library between multiple accounts on the same computer? I need multiple accounts only for email (e.g. separate for me and my wife) and I want to avoid maintaining duplicates of every Gdamn mp3 I own just so my wife can run iTunes from her account.
