Sharing MBP W/G5 23" Cinema Display

I have a 2011 MBP with thunderbolt and I want to use my 23" cinema display along side with my 2005 G5 powermac with DVI. Does anyone know the right I/O solution that I can toggle between the two computers and the one monitor?

Most monitors have multiple inputs, so that would be easy. Unfortunately, the apple displays only have one. I would look into hdmi switches and some adapters, but there could be input lag.

What you would probably want is a KVM switch, something like this:

That lets you hook your keyboard, mouse, and display up to the switch, and then you hook your two computers to the switch. You would need a Mini-Displayport to DVI adapter for the Macbook Pro.
