I just got my new Alu MacBook 2.4ghz and Im trying to figure out how to share my music file which is on my iMac with my MacBook. My iMac is directly plugged into my Linksys router and my MacBook is connect to my router wireless. How would i share files between the 2?

Is the linksys router that the Imac is plugged into the wireless router?

do you want to be Access the files..... on that computer to manipulate and use....
or would you like to just share the itunes library?

The router that is connected to my iMac is wireless and that is how my MacBook is connected. I would like to share my itunes libary and how to share files between the two.

To share files between the two, open Sharing in System Preferences, make sure the box by File Sharing is ticked, and add any folders you wish to share over the network.

I suggested to Apple, and if others feel the same way they should also suggest, that Apple include an automatic sync feature in the next version of iTunes.

I'm hoping that Apple will develop software that would sync music through Time Capsule. The sync would happen automatically much like MobileMe sync works.

If you support this, suggest it at www.apple.com/feedback

Wont that have copyright issues if all the music is iTunes DRM'd..... or something and stuff

thanks alot guys
everything works great! and im loving my new macbook
