I have never successfully done this over the same network with both a PC and a Mac...

I was just wondering if little snitch would affect it as everytime i try to connect I get the error message that the;

port XXXX is blocked (or to that extent). Check the firewall settings...

And to my knowledge i have no firewalls running....

I am confused!

If you're trying to access the library from a PC iTunes, make sure the PC has the windows Firewall completely disabled (this was the only option that worked for me when I had a similar problem). Go to the windows Control Panel, Windows Firewall, and select 'Off'. Restart both computers, then give it another try.

No luck its a MAC!
