Sharing 'notes' between iPhones

My wife and I use the notes app quite a lot. An example would be a shopping list.
Quite often i am sent out to get a few items and she has to email me the actual note.

Am i missing something or is there a way to import the note into my notes app?

I havent been able to find a way to "share" notes in the way you are referring to. I think your options are either to just stick with email... or you can check out something like this:

a bit pricey for a notes app, but it might be worth it if you and your wife share notes a lot. There are some cool features, like you can both edit a single note together and it will update the changes from both sides. Im sure there are other (cheaper) apps out there that do something similar

Use a third party app like Simplenotes. That would work!
