I'm trying to share a cpl things over my network. A folder and a drive. I add them both in "File Sharing". I even restart afterwards. Doesn't seem to be working. When I click on this particular computer from another in finder, I just see the computer's default "Public" folder. Not the ones I added. Is there a setting or something I've hit that is keeping anything I add from being shown on the network?

Thanks for any help!

two ways::

when you go to connect to the computer and you only get "Public" folder, there will be a "connect as button up the top of the window. use the credentials from the computer you are logging into (must use the account the folders are being shared from).

the other way:

in Finder. go to the "Go" menu and click "Connect to Server" (or use the key combination :apple: + K). type afp://ipaddressofthecomputeryuwanttoconnectto

and then go from there, login with the correct credentials as stated above.
