All of a sudden every time I import a file or folder into my Mac Pro the sharing permissions are read only. Some of my desktop folders have started doing this as well. I have not experienced this before. Now whenever I want to export or import a file to a program I have to:
Cmd I (Get info)
Unlock the folder
type in admin password
then change the everyone sharing permissions from Read Only to Read and Write.
With up to 50 files coming in a day this is becoming a real pain.
Is there a way I can stop this so all files and folders are read and write?
It has only just started happening so Im confused to why this is. All the files are coming from the same source they always have, either downloads or via usb.
