Where can I place my photo library so that the photos are shared with the other users of the computer. I'm tired of syncing my digital camera on my login as well as my wife's.

Sharing photos with other users.

You could keep it in a folder named Shared in the Accounts folder on your hard drive. Move it there while iPhoto is closed and then reopen iPhoto holding OPTION. This should give you the option to select a library, at which point you can navigate to it in the Shared folder.
