Sharing Printer Mac to Mac

Hey all, so I have a Macbook that's able to install and add a printer, and I shared that printer on the network. The other Macbooks on the network cannot add any printers due to administrator privilege, but some of them have been able to find my Adobe PDF printer. Is it possible for them to print to the printer that's shared through my laptop from theirs without adding the printer? Just wondering... thanks!

Do you have "Printer Sharing" turned on in your Preferences? I think the best test is to just try it....
