After shutting off sharing and turning it on again, and trying to figure out why all of my users' public folders weren't listed in the Leopard sharing pane, I decided to remove the shared folders from the list.
Now I can't get them back. They're not appearing as "User's Public Folder", and for some strange reason, Leopard on an intel Core Duo imac won't list more than five user's shared folders in the list. Leopard on my G4 ibook will, though. How do I restore sharing defaults?
I upgraded both the imac and ibook with Leopard, and also noticed that my existing users were placed in a Group called "Unknown Users" rather than "Users" for accounts newly made in Leopard.
Plus, both the ibook and imac refuse to repair permissions via Disk Utility in Leopard.
