I have a Macbook and a Macbook Pro both connected to the same wifi network. How can I grab a file off one onto the other?

Thanks in advance.

Go to System Preferences > Sharing and turn on File Sharing. You should be able to see the other Mac in the sidebar in Finder under sharing or you could click Command+K or click Go > Connect to server and type "afp://" followed by the IP address of the Mac you wish to connect to.

Thanks. Using this I can connect from MB to MBP but not the other way around as it errors 'connection failed' yet the IP is correct?!?
