Sharing screen between iMac and MBP

Hi, I have an iMac(lion 10.8.3) and a mbp(snow leopard 10.6.8). I want to use my mbp as a secondary screen, and add it with the iMac. I wantr my iMac screen as the primary. And Have the mbp screen as secondary. I have a thunderbolt cable too.. So what do i need to do now?
How should i connect them?
