Hi all.

I know this will be somewhat of a stretch. I was wondering if anyone knew of anyway to share the status output of a UPS (I have a CyberPower, but would be willing to switch for this) between two 'computers.' Reason is that my Synology NAS (my fat baby) supports USB input for a UPS. I currently have my iMac, Synology, and router on the battery side, and I would like the iMac to be able to do the auto shutdown as well in case of prolonged power failure.

Anyone have a working setup similar to this?

That would be interesting.....but I doubt it's possible. My setup precludes UPS sharing since the NAS is in the basement on an APC UPS and the iMac is upstairs on a Cyberpower UPS.
