Hi there!

I'm having a problem connecting my Macbook (Leopard OS 10.5.2) to my desktop PC (Win XP SP2) via bluetooth in order to use it's connection wirelessly on the notebook.

The connection on my desktop is ADSL via Zyxel router and in my network connections I can see one local network and one broadband dial-up network, both connected in order to activate the internet connection with my ISP.

For bluetooth connection I'm using a DLink USB adapter which has a built-in driver for a PAN network.

Now, I've been able to pair the desktop and my macbook, I can also see the PAN bluetooth network in the Mac's network preferences, however I'm completely lost when it comes to the DHCP or manual settings, as I don't know which IPs and subnet/router details to use. It seems that at some point I can get it, as Mac fills in some of the details itself (like the domain and the router), it gets connected and authenticated, but still there's no internet.

I've been trying to add the sharing option to each of the connections (local network and broadband) on my Desktop, but neither of these works.

I am however able to use my mobile phone's connection with the Macbook through JoikuSpot software on Nokia, and though this connection is also via bluetooth, the notebook connects to it through Airport, where my phone is listed in Devices. Is there any way to make the same type of a connection from my Desktop?

I'd be grateful if you could help me out with this.

Thanks in advance.
