Shattered Back Screen

I bought my iPhone 4S in February without Applecare. (Terrible decision). Now, I have dropped my phone and the back screen is shattered.
We live 3 hours away from the nearest Genius Bar, so I am unable to walk in and ask for help. Just wondering how much it will cost me to fix it, how long, and what number to call to get in fixed.

Fairly sure it's easy to change the back cover, get yourself a new one (and the tools to do it) and change it yourself.

It will void your warranty but if you do a good job who will know.

You can buy good quality replacement back glass on eBay for about 15 with the tools to replace. All you have to do is remove the two bottom screws, slide back glass up and it's removed. Installing is as easy as doin steps backwards. Good luck.
