I brought this in think it was dropped on tile floor not sure anyhow They replaced it for free, they did ask if I use for work and questions around that. Really happy I got this lucky

I am thinking of shattering mines so I can also get a free replacement. I am looking to sell the iPad 2 but mines got scratches on the back and hurts the resell value a lot. Do you think I can get as lucky as you? I don't use it for work, just for guest use when people visit our house.

I cracked my ipad too from dropping it. Apple gave me a "one time only" replacment.

policy

I think the policy is 299, that they charge after the initial 1 time replacement. Not clear, could be there discression. This wasn't something I could pawn off. Wish I knew the exact circumstance of my shatter, most likely kid did it with nanny. Not positive though
