Would shaving with Head And Shoulder Dandruff Shampoo, cause any pernament, or temporary damage to the skin? Reason because I ran out of shavving cream.

And I did search google with no results!

I'm not a dermatologist, but I seriously doubt it. For the interim, that should work just fine; however, if you're concerned, you could use regular body soap instead.

Nonetheless, all medical questions should really be directed at your healthcare provider; if you have a skin condition or develop a rash, contact them instead of us. :)

True!

I doubt it'll cause any harm. Wait- what exactly are you shaving? There are some body parts that could become irritated if you use shampoo to shave them. ;)

Won't that hurt on open skin? If you cut yourself I would imagine it would sting.

Grow a beard, its winter. Playoffs start in a couple weeks anyway, a playoff beard is always good luck.

There are at least 6 other products in my home that I would consider shaving with before I were to use H&S (if I even had that). :D

1. Butter
2. Lube™
3. Olive oil
4. Soap
5. Jello
6. Preparation H

Lube and Preparation H.:p Interesting shopping list you got there Mr Downs.

it's really not going to lather your skin and it will sting really bad after you are done.

In high school I once shaved with hand soap and that hurt.

Being a girl, I can't speak about shaving one's face, but I've shaved my legs with soap before. It works ok and doesn't sting much.

But I'd avoid H&S because of the anti-dandruff chemicals. Not something you want to get in any small shaving cuts.

A good lathering body wash should do the job just fine.

Buy a good boar bristle shaving brush, and use dove soap.

Head and shoulders? I wouldn't even put that stuff on my head!!!!!!!!!!!

Just use an electric shaver if you have one...

I shave like once a week with an actual razor and shaving cream. In between I just shave with a "three ring" electric shaver, that way I don't cut myself often...

or just go without shaving for a day until you can get some shaving cream. probably not the end of the world unless your're in HS and its not allowed, etc....

My cousin told me that if you do that, your skin starts to turn green?
