Shazam lyrics

While I find the shazam app amazing and the lyrics portion even better. The lyrics keep scrolling to the song. Only problem is the watch will turn the screen off aftee about 30 secs or so.

Can an app make the face stay on or is this totally up to the watch? Just find it inconvinient to keep tapping the watch face to keep reading the lyrics as the song plays along

It's the same with the stopwatch, if I'm timing something I'd prefer the screen not turn off. I don't think there is any way to prevent this, it was done purposely to conserve power.

I've seen in other posts that you can rest your finger on the screen to keep it from timing out and turning off, but that's not super convenient as it ties up both of your hands.
