Apps Shazam watch app requesting microphone access

Anyone else having this problem with Shazam for the Apple Watch? Sometimes it works, but very often it tells me that I need to allow microphone access on the iPhone App. I have allowed access on the iphone.

Shazam on the iPhone works every time.

Tried force quitting Shazam on the watch, reinstalling, etc, but still get the microphone message quite often.

Bottom line: You really don't need the app on the Watch. Siri does it for you.

After trying both approaches, i would still prefer to have Shazam working. Any ideas?

I had this issue recently. The problem seemed to resolve itself over time.
