macOS Shell script Canon's UFR2 drivers

You need the EFI imagePass print controller to rip PS in Mac.
UFR II is Canon's development of an emulated PCL driver, which is meant for Windows apps.
Let me know if you need more help, as I am an employee of Canon.
I am surprised your sales rep did not tell you this. Therefore, I am guessing that you must have purchased through a reseller and not from Canon.
I have said it many times before, it costs slightly more to buy direct, but you get world class support and service and will not run into these problems.
Next time just shell out the few extra bucks for a more knowledgeable sales rep.
