Hello!

I am using a MBP and have a remote desktop connection open to a win server 2003. I would like to be able to delete a file while skipping the recycle bin. With a non-mac keyboard we hit shift + delete. However this does not work with MBP keyboard. i also tried shift + cmd + delete.

Does anyone know how?

thanks

Don't have a machine to test this, but I know that the equivalent of Option+Click on Mac iTunes is Shift+Click on Windows..maybe the reverse applies? Try Option+Delete?

good thought, but all i got was a beep. thank you for your suggestion.

Try Function + Shift + Delete. I forgot that function+delete turns the delete button (aka Windows backspace) on a Mac keyboard to the actual Delete function in Windows. I don't know if this will work on a RDP connection, though.
