Hello.

My MacBook Pro from 2009, just broke yesterday. It seems like the shift key is always pushed down. I've read a whole lot about it, and nothing seems to work. I've tried to lift the key off, and it still boots in safe mode. Tried pressing c or esc while booting, still boots in safe mode.

I've Got Lion 10.7.4 ..

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Have same problem, did you fix them?

Thanks

Disconnect the keyboard flex cable internally. Connect a USB keyboard, then perform a PRAM reset by holding down the CMD+ALT+P+R keys, and pressing the power button. When it chimes twice, power it off, and reconnect everything :).
