hello everyone.

so for the last couple days I've had the really annoying problem of my shift+t not working. i have the wired version of the new aluminum apple keyboard.

i can use shift with every other key.
i can use capslock+t.
i have restarted my computer.
i've tried logging in with another user.
i have checked the text to speech short cut, and it is not set on shift+t.
i checked all other keyboard shortcuts, and none are set to shift+t.
i plugged in my older white apple keyboard, and it works perfectly fine.
I've deleted anything i downloaded the past few days.

i'm stuck guys. i don't know what else to do. can someone please help me?

one important thing i just tested now -- i plugged my keyboard into my dad's computer and the shift+t did not work on his computer either. this means that the problem is solely because of the keyboard.

its such a strange problem. I've searched on Google and it seems to be a common problem without a fix.

Open System Preferences->Keyboard, Keyboard Shortcuts and see if there is a shortcut conflict or something. You could make or modify a shortcut if you want by click on the cuts them themselves.

this is a weird issue -- do you guys think i need to buy a new keyboard?!

this keyboard is driving me crazy. does anyone have any idea on what the problem could be?

yes, it happens even after i create a temporary user account.

i can't return it, there is not warranty left.

i will have to buy a new one today :(
