Hello,

I have a big shiny patch on the aluminium of my 13" MacBook Pro (Specs in signature), and I thought aluminium was supposed to be really resistant at this type of wear, because I don't have this anywhere else on my MacBook Pro. Is there anything I can do about this? I've nearly had it for 1 year and I wasn't expecting any of this :(

Thanks and regards,
Mo'

Possibly one of my slowest replies ever, sorry, been real busy with exams.

That little 'patch' you see, is the reflection of the light bulbs on the ceiling, aluminium doesn't reflect like that unless it's got shiny, like mine has :( I'll try getting a better picture, had to use my iPhone 4 camera.

Same area of MacBook, but moved camera to the left a bit to show that it's a patch :p

And I think this was caused by electric running through the computer and my hands rubbing that area to make it go shiny, seems plausible.
